Food help
Every Wednesday at 18:00, a support program takes place in the large community room, drawing single mothers, low-income families, elderly individuals, and others facing financial hardship. The evening begins with a short time of encouragement, followed by a warm meal shared in a welcoming atmosphere.
Before leaving, attendees receive food bags filled with essentials such as fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, eggs, yogurt, cookies, and pastries — often enough to ease the burden of grocery costs for the week. Registration helps ensure everyone in need receives support.
Around fifty individuals and households benefit each week. Volunteers, including some recipients, help with preparation and distribution. This shared effort fosters dignity, belonging, and community connection.
Beyond food, the program also offers one-on-one support for those dealing with deeper challenges like unemployment, emotional stress, or housing issues. A broader network helps with referrals, appointments, and practical tasks. The aim is holistic care — supporting long-term transformation with compassion and consistency.
